International MPS Day was May 15—learn why this day matters here.

IMPSN International Aid Program

The International MPS Network (IMPSN) International Aid Program was created in response to the increasing number of urgent requests from individuals and families affected by MPS and related lysosomal storage diseases in underserved regions. These requests often reveal stark inequities in access to diagnosis, treatment, and support resources. In response, the IMPSN is committed to bridging these gaps by fostering strategic connections and advocating for sustainable solutions.

Program Objective:

To provide critical, non-financial support to patients and families in underserved regions by addressing disparities in access to care, resources, and services through a structured and responsive international network.

What We Offer:

While the IMPSN cannot provide direct financial assistance, clinical advice, or immigration support, we are equipped to offer meaningful help in the following ways:
A row of paper cutout people holding hands is draped across a globe, symbolizing global unity and cooperation in MPS advocacy and support. The globe shows continents and countries in soft blue tones.

Through the International Aid Program, the IMPSN is dedicated to providing timely and impactful support to individuals and families, while promoting equitable access to care globally.

By strengthening local networks, facilitating knowledge exchange, and addressing systemic challenges, the program strives to foster sustainable solutions and enhance the quality of life for people living with MPS and related conditions around the world.
